About Me
My name is Jennifer!
This blog is all about answering a question. Who are you?
For a moment this may seem like a ridiculous question. I can assure you it’s not. For most of us the answer will come out as things we do, or a collection of things that others have told us we are. Attributes that may not even fit but are often what we have taken on because we have been hearing them for so long that we begin to think they must be accurate. However, often they are not, and we feel how little they feel genuine.
So what do we do to figure out the answer? The real true answer?
It is not in a self-help book, or education, career, or even the sum of what other people say you are. Only the one who created you has the power, and authority to define who you are.
I have walked a life of mistaken Identity. I thought I knew who I was. In fact, I was sure.
I found myself walking on a road that was not meant for me, and therefore it made me miserable beyond belief. I was broken, scarred, and afraid.
Then one day I met him. The only one who could show me who I was, the only one who could shine a light in areas that were dark. Everything about who I believed myself to be was the result of the lies spoken by those who did not know who they were themselves. Piece by piece he peeled back the layers of things I believed about myself that did not fit, and it was only then that I was able to really see who he made me to be.
If you struggle to answer the question, Who am I. This is a space for you. It’s a place where I share the journey to seeing yourself as you are. He has put something inside of you that has been trying to be released for your entire life. Now is the time!
Welcome, stay awhile, and spend some time staring at the son.
